Meilleur Ami
Translated to Best Friends or close friends, Meilleur Ami represents the female relationships and connections we make. As a queer woman finding those relationships are essential. In a society that is often focused on romantic soulmates, I find that platonic soulmates should be cherished. Women cannot usually make deep connections and experience relationships that heal the feminine spirit. This piece highlights that, and in many ways women are connected to nature whether from historical motifs or spirituality, I believe its important to connect the two.
