Percy is inspired from an ancient Roman brooch on display at the Hertford Museum and is fabricated from sterling silver, brass and copper. The eyes are hand blown glass from San Diego artists. The center stone is hand cut from Chinese "gold wire" turquoise and adds a bit of realism to the piece becoming Percy's wing.
